PRP Therapy

PRP therapy is a skincare and hair loss treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma concentrate to enrich a portion of the blood to facilitate tissue growth. Along with platelets, it is also enriched with a range of growth factors that stimulates hair growth, minimizes scar tissue and also skin rejuvenation.

PRP Therapy is Recommended to Treat

  • Hair Loss - Stimulates new hair growth
  • Skin rejuvenation - Increases dermal collagen and elastic fibres
  • Scar treatment - Improve scar appearance by collagen production
  • Ulcer/ wound management - Accelerate wound healing through supplementary growth factors
  • Stretch marks - Cover up scars through supportive collagen production
The Procedure of PRP Therapy

The procedure involves collecting about 16-20 ml of your blood under sterile conditions. The blood is then processed and in about 40 mins PRP is ready to be injected back into your body through a fine injection or after microneedling/laser resurfacing. A topical anesthesia/vibrating device is used to alleviate the pain during the procedure.
